During your stay, we invite you to discover the region's artisan producers, who will offer you local specialities
- Huilerie de Vensat, 2 rue de la Marche, 63260 VENSAT
An oil mill with know-how going back more than 150 years (passed down from father to son), producing gourmet oils with a unique taste. Their nuts are not cold-pressed but roasted before the oil is extracted, which gives a lovely, slightly toasted flavour.
- Butcher's, artisan charcuterie and cured meats: Les Trois Petits Cochons
Founded in 2012, Les Trois Petits Cochons is based in Lalizolle (03450), on the hillsides of the Combrailles Bourbonnaises.
The business has three employees (a butcher, a charcutière and a sales assistant), an apprentice and two managers. All their products are home-made, with salt as the main preservative. Meat is available wholesale or retail (cooked and dry-cured charcuterie, preserves).
